Updates from Teacher Deborah (Week 13)
Dear Mommy and Daddy,
This week, Teacher Deborah taught us a new song “Flowers” (Appendix 1). I like to pretend to be like little flowers. I’m so happy that I can make purple by mixing blue and pink play-dough together. Teacher Deborah painted my hand with four different colors of paint. Wow, I just made rainbow colored flowers!
I like to become a little gardener. Teacher gave me a little pot and some tiny seeds. I scooped some soil into the pot; then, I sprinkled some seeds, and then, I covered it with more soil. Finally, I watered the seeds. I can’t wait to see my seeds sprout into a little plant! Teacher Deborah taught me to take care of my plant by watering it everyday. I’m so happy that my classroom is turning into a garden soon.
Appendix 1
Flowers
Sing to tune: "Sing a Song of Sixpence"Sing a song of flowers, flowers all around.Flowers that are growing, growing in the ground.Flowers of each color make a pretty view.Red and orange and yellow, And blue and purple too.
