I'm feeling so excited. This is my first time traveling and to Bintan for the first time. Gwendoly JieJie's family and Aunty Tricia will be going with us too. We reached Tanah Merah Ferry Terminal at around 6.45pm. After everyone has reached, Daddy went to collect our ferry tickets. Mummy held my hands and let me around the place.
When we were about to pass through Immigration, mummy carried me, but I insisted walking. Mummy had no choice so she let me walk thru the x-ray hand luggage checkpoint. The securities officers were smiling at me in trying to learn how to walk.
When on the ferry, mummy was too weak to carry me because she was feeling dizzy. So daddy carried me and patted me to sleep.
We reached Nivana Gardens Resort at around 10.00pm (SG Time). I had my first buggy ride. to reach our destination, Banyu Biru Resorts, Suria 3. When I entered the resort, I was so excited because I saw the flight of stairs. Initially, mummy and daddy didn't allow me to walk or climb the stairs because I still cannot walk on my own and they afraid that I will fall from the stairs. But after making some screaming and crying, they finally give in. And when everyone has settled down, we had our dinner cum supper.
29th July 2006
The next morning I woke up at around 10am (SG Time). Daddy cooked some alphabets macaroni and mixed them with mayonnaise tuna together with those cocktails sausages. I don't like to eat the macaroni as they were tasteless. Initially those adults want to have BBQ so that they can drink with their beer but because it was rather costly so they decided to go for the Seafood Buffet at the Coffee Shop for dinner. We walked to the main resort areas and see what's fun there. We explored around the main resort areas, looking for the kids room and we noticed that it's just next to the main swimming pool. And while on the way to the kids' room, the adults noticed that the sea is in dark color and they noticed that dark clouds are approaching us. And daddy shouted, "Tsunami" and all the ladies said "choy choy" It started to rain and we all hide inside the kids' room. I played with those colored balls while Gwendolyn JieJie played "10 Pin Bowling" with Uncle Raymond. When the rain was not so heavy, we left for the shuttle bus to a Thai Restaurant. This restaurant was located nearer to the Indra Maya Villas. It was recommended by Uncle Raymond and Aunty Pauline. They have stayed there before.
As we are still early for lunch, we alight the shuttle bus at the Mayang Sari Resort to look around and have a little toilet break. The place was really quiet, no kids running and shouting. We caught the next shuttle and arrived at the Thai Restaurant. All of us were too hungry and we quickly ordered our food. I was too tired so fall asleep while waiting for the food to arrive.
After lunch, we went back to our villa. Although I have slept at the Thai Restauant, but I still took my nap when I reached the villa. By the time I woke up, it was time to have dinner.
30th July 2006
Today is the last day of our holiday. Mummy woke me up early in the morning. She wanted to go suntan so asking daddy to bring me to the pool. Initially I was afraid because this was my first time being exposed to such a big swimming pool. But after some warm up and taking off my top swim suit. I enjoyed playing in the water. And Aunty Pauline took me to bring me once to play with the slide. But I got myself a scare. So in the end, I was walking along the edge of the pool all by myself.
After sometime, we went back to the chalet, rested for a while, before we walked to the main resort area again to "da bao" our lunch. We went to the extreme end of the beach to play sand. And Aunty Tricia was frantically trying to catch the fishes swimming along the coast. But she didn't manage to catch any. W start to pack our things when the adults noticed high tide is coming. So we went back to the main resort and ordered our "da bao" lunch. I was very grouchy, so the adults decided to bring the kids back first while Aunty Tricia stayed back to wait for out lunch.
I fell asleep while waiting for Aunty Tricia to bring back the "da bao" lunch. It was a very satisfying lunch. Daddy and mummy packed our bags while I was still sleeping. But daddy took a short nap with me because he was called to wake up early in the morning by mummy. When everyone was ready, Aunty Tricia called for buggy. We took the buggy to the main resort first. As we still need to wait for at least an hour to the transfer bus, the adults decided to bring the kids to the kids' room again. I got my chance to play with those colored balls again. We left the place when it was about time to catch the transfer bus. I was tired again so I slept while on the ferry back to our mainland, Singapore.
